The Return of the MJ Machine

Hello All!

Sorry no post for ages. I would fill you in fully, but it would take a very, very long time. So I shall condense the history of my world since the post about my successful trip to an Italian in York, into two sentences:

Upon leaving 2 St Oswalds Road, MJ went home for the summer holidays, during which he spent two weeks in Bulgaria and Romania and throughout the rest of the year there was much merriment. Since late 2006 he has been living on Scarcroft Road, in South Bank.

More stuff to appear here soon. Liberal Democrat conference review to come after the coming weekend. Now, there's something to look forward to!

I would also like to use this occasion to pay homage to Joe, the master of blogging, who introduced many of us to the phenomenon. MJ misses Joe :-(

Three cheers for Joe!

Caesar's Italian Restaurant, York

The lovely end-of-meal team shot there. With added staff, all getting in on the shot also. The man to my right (I'm in the lovely blue tank-top) is one of the waiters - who also seemed to be specialist rose pourer.

The meal was very nice. I had a spicy thing to start and an even spicier thing with pasta for the main. The first involved sausage and the second, butterfly prawns. Ideal. Made me a little warm though.

MJ's Easter Holidays Volume 2

More pictures, like promised.

Above see Rosie and Bill with sheep.

Above is Gordon, the sheep, who I named. I'm his honorary godfather.

Above is a picture of a road sign near Ashprington. Obviously some hickish yocal has been out with their shotgun.

Above: 1 x boy, 2 x wads. Wad with stick offered to beat me to death with it. I decline the kind offer.

MJ's Easter Holidays Volume 1

Long time no post. I am now back in York for a new term, and what better time, I thought for a few pictures from my Easter holidays, very much enjoyed down in dear old Devon...

Above is a picture of Grey Cat watching a pheasant.

Above is one of the many fine stained-glass windows at Gloucester Cathedral, which I visited with Boo.

Above is Boo standing beside a crane, with antiques centre behind.

Above is the marvelous Pittville Pump Room, which can be found in Cheltenham.

COMMUNICATIONS BLACKOUT

I'm afraid I'm difficulties with my mobile telephone, so if you can't get hold of me, that's why.

Get home - mobile breaks, no broadband - it's like going back a decade.

Whinging and Moaning

Multiple choice!? Multiple choice!? And they're always complaining they have so much hard work.

Psychology: is it art, is it a science? Answers on a postcard please.
