South Bank robbed

YORK, UK: South Bank Reunited fought a magnificent game last Friday afternoon, although they lost by the narrow margin, of 2-1. The two goals scored by the opponents were nothing special, and generally against the run of play (and including a large slice of luck in both instances).

There were many champagne moments of the match, to accompany Hampus' beautifully driven goal, which almost carried the keeper into his own net. The South Bank Reunited's goal was kept very safe, with some career defining penalty saves by Mr. Dean. Singaporean defender Vas, made an important appearence, creating a lot of problems for the strikers of the opposing side, especially his devilish slide-tackles. Medway made a few jinking runs into the box and captain John worked well at the back.

Although, manager, Mr. MJ Johns-Perring, was there for the match, he was laid off sick, and he also apologises for the short nature of this match summary, however believes the performance on Friday was certainly the best seen this term, and clearly a sign of how the team will proceed in the future. With seven players, all gearing up for the next match, captain John, suggested we had the ability to go further. Support for the match included, as ever, the head of the supporters club and chairman. Also appearing this week was Ms. Craig.
